Why is it that you have a great business with awesome products and services yet it made no difference because you still met with rejection? You asked probing questions and found that your prospect had a problem/s that you knew in your heart that you could help the person with. Your prospect showed interest in what you had and even showed enthusiasm when you spoke about your comp plan and how well the products or services were.



You Sound Great - What's the Mystery



You had your script so well-rehearsed that you could literally recite it in your sleep so you are confident it wasn’t your presentation. You had your prospect sharing about his family and had him visualizing what it would be like to have some extra money coming in and how exciting it would be to be able say good bye to the job and just work for himself. Your prospect listened to the sizzle call and afterward said he would like to watch a complete presentation and you were sure the person was going to join.



Call Me Next Week



As confident as you were you attempted to call the person back to get his questions answered and then get him enrolled yet after 4 attempts you were still unable to reconnect. Your sponsor suggested that you hide your number and call again and this time your prospect picks up the phone. You attempt to pick up the conversation on a high note and yet your prospect seems distant. When you try to move the person forward with the sign up process your prospect says he wants to do a bit more research and asked if you can call him in 5 days and since you don’t want to lose this person you agree.



Witness Protection Plan



Does this sound like a familiar story? I have a ton of memories just like this one and I can tell you it used to drive me crazy! Why do people say they are interested, show genuine enthusiasm and then join the "Witness Protection Plan" (meaning you can never reach them again or they ask you to call them back)? The prospect told you that this was exactly what he was looking for and even said he had friends that would join immediately yet now you have to hide your number for the person to pick up the phone.
